The World Branding Awards recently released the winners of the fourth installment of the Animilis Edition, and Hikari® is proud to have received our third consecutive win in the “Brand of the Year” category for 2023. The Animilis category recognizes the top 100 brands from the pet and animal industry, drawn from a collection of over 1,500 brands from more than 42 countries.
The World Branding Awards recognize the merits of the world’s best brands, and winners are selected based on brand value, consumer market research and public online voting. Over 150,000 consumers from five continents helped select this year’s winners, and Hikari® is honored to have been chosen. In 2019, Hikari® became the first Japanese ornamental fish manufacturer to receive the highly coveted “Brand of the Year” award Animilis Edition, and 2023 marked our third consecutive win in this category.
All Hikari® products are manufactured and held to a rigorous quality control system based on HACCP, ensuring our customers receive dietary options that are nutrient dense and scientifically backed. In 2020 for the first time in Japan, all 3 Hikari® owned factories received ISO 22000 certification, which allows us to easily fulfill the unique and complicated requirements dictated for markets in the EU, US, Australia and China.
