Warning & Safeguards
This product is for use on a nominal 120-V circuit. Ensure voltage shown on the label correlates with the mains supply voltage in your area. The air pump must be connected to a grounded, metallic, permanent wiring system, or an equipment-grounding terminal or lead on the product. In-the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. Unplug or switch off all appliances in the aquarium or pond before carrying out maintenance.
Install the FujiMAC air pump at a higher position than water level in order to prevent water backflow. Do not immerse the air pump in the water. If it falls in the water, do not reach for it and immediately unplug. Place the air pump in a safe and well ventilated area that provides easy access for inspection and maintenance. The air pump must be on a level surface away from direct sunlight (preferably undercover). When the air pump is on, it is extremeley hot. Do not touch directly, as it may cause injury and burn.
Maintenance & Care
Routine maintenance is required to ensure the maximum performance and longevity of the FujiMac Air Pump. Prior to any maintenance or appliance cleaning or repair, unplug the power cord and be sure let the pump cool down before opening the cover. The FujiMAC Air Filter should be inspected and cleaned every 3 or 4 months and replace every year. Replace the Diaphragm / Valve every year. If the diaphragm/valve becomes damaged in models (60 - 200), the automatic-stop function will engage. Further action must be taken to rectify the problem or deterioration of the use point due to an inoperable air pump may result.
